Cara menggunakan masker kain pun tidak bisa sembarangan.Meski terdengar sepele, masker kain perlu digunakan dengan baik. Sebab, bakteri dan virus akan berkumpul di masker, dan tanpa disadari kamu bisa terkena penyakit dari masker yang kamu kenakan.Berikut ini adalah cara mengenakan masker yang benar agar terhindar dari penyakit, dikutip detikcom dari panduan Badan Obat dan Pengawasan Makanan (BPOM) dalam pencegahan COVID-19, Kamis (28/5/2020).
1. Bersihkan tanganSebelum menggunakan masker kain, cuci tangan dengan sabun atau hand sanitizer berbasis alkohol.
2. Masker harus menutupi hidung dan mulutPastikan bagian hidung dan mulut tertutup dengan baik tanpa ada celah antara wajah dan masker. Masker kain sebaiknya tidak digunakan lebih dari empat jam.
3. Jangan sentuh maskerHindari menyentuh masker ketika digunakan. Jika masker kain tersentuh, kembali bersihkan tangan dengan sabun atau hand sanitizer berbasis alkohol.
4. Buka dari belakangSaat membuka masker hindari menyentuh bagian depan. Bukalah dari tali belakang, setelah selesai sebaiknya kembali bersihkan tangan dengan sabun dan air mengalir selama 20 detik.
